Compliance Officer / Legal Officer at Lagos Commodities and Futures Exchange (LCFE)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a motivated, analytical and proactive Compliance / Legal Officer to ensure our operations adhere to all legal and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying regulatory risks, drafting robust legal frameworks, and acting as a primary liaison between the organization and various regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) and Bachelor of Laws (B.L).
• 1 to 2 years of post-call experience, preferably with a focus on corporate law or regulatory compliance.
• Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is mandatory.
• Strong familiarity with the Nigerian corporate legal landscape and Abuja-based regulatory processes.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and verbal communication skills.
• High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and the ability to handle sensitive information.
• Tech Savvy
• Capital Market Experience is an added Advantage
