Job Summary

• The Legal Adviser is responsible for providing sound legal guidance to the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and protecting the company’s legal interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on company operations, policies, and decisions
• Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
• Ensure the organization complies with all applicable laws and regulations
• Represent the company in legal matters when necessary
• Handle disputes, claims, and litigation matters
• Advise management on legal risks and mitigation strategies
• Liaise with external lawyers, regulators, and government agencies
• Stay up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B)
• Must be a qualified lawyer (BL) and called to the Bar
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience
• Strong knowledge of corporate and labour laws
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
