Corporate Lawyer (Advocate / Solicitor) at Jasper Beryl Consulting

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory services to clients on corporate and commercial matters.
• Represent clients as Advocates in court proceedings where required.
• Act as Solicitors in corporate transactions, contract drafting, and legal documentation.
• Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned opinions on complex legal issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and corporate documents.
• Support the firm’s corporate practice in regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters.
• Maintain high professional and ethical standards in dealing with clients and colleagues.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the firm to deliver high-quality legal solutions.

• An articulate legal professional with strong advocacy and drafting skills.
• Ethical, dependable, and capable of maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Resourceful with the ability to analyze legal problems and provide practical solutions. A strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Post-Call experience to the Nigerian Bar.
• Experience in corporate and commercial law practice will be an added advantage. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively as both an Advocate and Solicitor where required.
