Provide sound legal advice and support to the organisation, ensuring legal compliance, effective contract management and protection of the organisation’s interests.
Responsibilities
Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements, MOUs and other legal documents.
Provide legal advice to management on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.
Ensure organisational compliance with applicable laws, regulations and healthcare-sector requirements.
Manage legal risk and advise on mitigation.
Coordinate external counsel and manage litigation, disputes and claims.
Maintain the contract register and ensure timely renewals and obligation tracking.
Support corporate governance, board, and statutory and secretarial matters.
Advise on data protection (NDPA), patient and consumer rights, and confidentiality.
Support regulatory filings, licences and engagements with authorities.
Develop legal templates, policies and awareness across the organisation.
Requirements
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Call to the Nigerian Bar (BL), plus completion of NYSC or a valid exemption where applicable.
Minimum of 4–6 years’ post-call legal experience, ideally in-house or in commercial practice.
