Claims Specialist at Scib Nigeria & Co. Limited

Job Duties:

• Undertake in the adjustment of all major, complex or important claims .
• Review the reports of Adjusters, Engineers, etc. and make appropriate recommendations regarding the claims.
• Undertake detailed review of claims adjustments and settlement offers received from insurers and adjusters to ascertain equity and fairness for the client.
• Monitor the progress of claims and follow through to settlement.
• Ensure the customer receives excellent customer experience on each and every claim, in keeping with the company Vision.
• Review files of settled claims to ascertain that the handling and processing conformed to standards.
• Preparation of Claims Experience for major or strategic clients’ programmes.
• Handle and resolve all claims complaints and disputes professionally.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Arts, Law or any related field.
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience in a reputable Insurance or Brokerage Company.
• Associate of CII Nigeria or CII London will be an added advantage.
• Client relationship management skills is desirable.
• Possess vast knowledge in all classes of insurance and products
• Strong Communication and Leadership Skills
• Good Presentation and Analytical skills
• Good Business Acumen
• Good Negotiation Skills
