Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Real Estate Lawyer located in Lekki, Lagos. The role involves managing real estate transactions, drafting and reviewing legal documents, providing expert legal advice on property laws, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The lawyer will collaborate with internal teams to oversee contracts, title verifications, and property transactions, ensuring legal and contractual soundness across all processes. Additionally, the role includes representing the company in legal proceedings related to real estate and managing client relationships effectively.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Property Law, Contract Law, and Corporate Law
• Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents
• Experience in title documentation, property registration, and conducting title searches
• Ability to provide comprehensive legal advice on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
• Keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with real estate laws in Nigeria
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and completion of Nigerian Law School (BL); membership in relevant professional bodies is an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law or a related field
• Proven record of managing real estate legal matters from preparation to completion.
