The Chief Medical Officer will provide strategic and clinical leadership, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality care, and regulatory compliance.
The role oversees staff, drives continuous improvement, manages resources, and serves as a key liaison between clinical teams, hospital administration, and external stakeholders.
Lead and develop multidisciplinary clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Shape and implement hospital strategy, policies, and clinical governance.
Oversee clinical operations, resource management, and budget planning.
Champion patient safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Foster academic partnerships, research, and medical education.
Represent the hospital with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and community partners.
Drive the development and implementation of clinical protocols, standards, and best practices.
Oversee recruitment, mentoring, and performance management of medical staff.
Ensure compliance with national and state healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
Requirements
Required Experience and Capabilities: Medical degree with a valid MDCN license; postgraduate qualification in Public Health, Health Administration, or MBA is an advantage.
Minimum 15 years’ clinical experience, including 5+ years in senior medical leadership.
Proven expertise in hospital management, public health, and stakeholder engagement.
