    Chief Business Development Officer

    Job Purpose / Objective

    • We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and results-driven professional to lead our Business Development team.
    • As the Chief Business Developmern Officer, you will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue through innovative financial solutions that align with our corporate vision.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to grow the company’s client base and revenue streams.
    • Identify and cultivate partnerships with key stakeholders, investors, and corporate clients.
    • Lead market research and competitive analysis to inform new product development and market entry strategies.
    • Oversee the promotion and sales of loan and investment products, ensuring alignment with organization's focus.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to define medium to long-term organizational goals and business expansion opportunities.
    • Lead and manage the business development team, setting clear objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations.
    • Represent the company at industry events, forums, and networking functions.
    • Develop proposals, presentations, and financial models to support new initiatives.
    • Maintain strong knowledge of financial trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the industry.
    • Ensure all business development activities are aligned with compliance, risk, and operational standards.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA is an added advantage).
    • Minimum of 13 years of progressive experience in business development or sales withinthe financial services sector. (Compulsory)
    • Proven track record of driving growth and developing high-impact strategies.
    • Strong understanding of loan and investment products, financial advisory services, and client relationship management.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strategic thinker with analytical mindset and decision-making abilities.
