    Civil & Structural Engineer

    Job Purpose

    • To support Civil and Structural aspects of engineering design and construction works, with the timely production of design, construction and as-built drawings when required and in compliance with Project Specifications and COMPANY General Specifications.
    • To perform Civil and Structural design verification required for further development into construction drawings or for quantities estimate.
    • To support the coordination of interfaces with other Project engineering disciplines to prepare and receive input for development of civil and structural design deliverables.
    • To provide technical input and support in evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering and constructability options, techniques, procedures, and criteria, in making adaptations and modifications as it involves the preparation of construction deliverables for Brownfield modifications and other assigned design and detailing tasks.

    Job Responsibilites

    • Review assigned construction engineering deliverables received from Contractors, Vendors or generated internally
    • Prepare and/or update civil/structural Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings
    • Ensure that Basis of Design, Project Specifications for buildings, civil and structural works are adhered to for all prepared and reviewed deliverables.
    • Preparation of Civil and Structural MTOs for the purposes of enquiries, procurement or internal COMPANY estimates.
    • Interface with other Project engineering discipline Designers during the preparation or review of deliverables.
    • Follow up fabrication activities on site and in contractors’ fabrication yards to ensure compliance with engineering designs.
    • Support Project Review audits for the different project phases
    • Ensure the quality and integrity of deliverables are of the highest quality so that they meet safety, constructability and functionality requirements.
    • Ensure proper follow-up on red-line markups and as-built documentation and close-out.
    • Occasional site visits to support site surveys or existing structures integrity assessment when required for design development.

    HSE Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Support and enforce the HSE Project objectives and directives. Ensure all HSE targets are achieved.
    • Make safety suggestions, report any anomalies, and initiate STOP procedure for unsafe acts
    • Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to HSE and quality management.
    • Monitor the HSE performance of Contractors and their sub-contractors and ensure compliance with documented HSE Plans and procedures.
    • Ensure that all Company personnel and visitors know, understand, and comply with safety regulations on site, and have received adequate HSE training.
    • Ensure that CTR follow approved work procedures in site or yard execution works. 

    Qualifications & Skills Required (Degree of mastery: 1: weak – 2: medium – 3: good – 4: excellent)
    Required Qualification and Background

    • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
    • Professional Experience (min. number of years):  7
    • Experience within project: (min. number of years): 5.

    Technical:

    • Design: Verification and review civil/structural deliverables - 4
    • Design: Quantities estimation and MTO preparation - 4
    • Design: Civil and structural drawings drafting  - 4
    • Design: Interpretation of design input; Piping Isos, E&I etc - 4
    • Design: 3D Model navigation: - 3.

    Others

    • AutoCAD 2D & 3D - 4

    Key Technical Skills:

    • Thorough knowledge of oil & gas field engineering, design, construction and installation methods including its practice and procedures
    • Familiar with codes standards regulations and practices applicable to the design and construction of offshore structures/production facilities, including IP, ITU, API, NEG, ISA, ANSI, AGA, NEMA, etc.
    • Ability to demonstrate oil and gas experience with an emphasis on onshore and offshore engineering design on projects
    • Knowledge of analytical techniques required for Civil/Structural detailed design
    • Ability to communicate articulately and persuasively
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision as part of a team, which might include the support and management of Contractor’s Designers.
    • Good interpersonal skills with ability to interact in a multi-national/multi-ethnic workgroup
    • Must be self-motivated and able to effectively influence the Project Team and contractor personnel
    • He/she should possess excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively function in a team environment.
    • Show business, commercial and cultural awareness
    • Good inter-personal and communication skills.
    • Highly experienced Designer with sound technical background and expertise.

    Junior Compressor Technician

    Job Summary

    • The candidate will ensure the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of compressor units on the FPSO through routine inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

    Key Responsibilties
    General Responsibilities:

    • Operate and maintain gas compressor and gas lift skid
    • Assist and execute technical maintenance in production plant

    Special Responsibilities:

    • Daily operation of compressor skid
    • Ensuring proper and continuous functioning of gas lift with minimum downtime
    • Report to PSUP status of equipment
    • Liaise with PSUP for spare parts stock and necessary purchasing
    • Report any hazardous situation and equipment failure to PSUP or SPOP as appropriate
    • Carry out routine safety tests and checks on equipment as required by PSUP
    • Execution and technical expertise to PSUP and SPOP in all mechanical maintenance in production facilities
    • Assist SPOP and JPOP in production routines if needed
    • Keep record of repairs, adjustments and the use of spare parts
    • Be familiar with PTW System
    • Be fully familiar with rules, regulations and work procedures applicable to his responsibilities.

    Certificates Training:

    • Officer in Charge of an engineering watch certificate (OOW).

    Professional Qualification

    • Officer in Charge of an engineering watch certificate (OOW) is mandatory.
    • Mechanical engineering and Production engineering or Marine Engineer with at least 4 years’ experience, preferably from Gas Tankers.
    • Compressor Training Certificate
    • Very good knowledge in English written and spoken.
