Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present dishes in line with the client's quality and consistency standards.
• Assist in the development and refinement of menu items, contributing creative ideas.
• Ensure food preparation and storage areas are maintained in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff and ensure smooth daily operations within your section.
• Maintain proper inventory levels; report shortages and requisition supplies as needed.
• Monitor portion control, minimize food waste, and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Work collaboratively with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely and consistent service.
• Uphold hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation procedures in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in kitchen briefings, training, and shift planning as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Parte or strong experience as a Demi Chef in a reputable kitchen.
• Formal culinary training or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and presentation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
