Brief Job Description
- As a Caster Fitter at African Steel Mills, your role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of Continuous Caster Machine (CCM) equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for Maintenance of CCM equipments.
- Responsible for Maintenance and trouble shooting of the CCM panels.
- Responsible for proper maintenance of Auto Cutter, Auto Level Controller, pusher & Cooling Bed and other CCM equipments.
- Responsible for maintenance of foot roller & secondary nozzles.
- Responsible to write daily report in the section’s daily report book.
- Responsible to carry out troubleshooting and affect repairs on all types of CCM equipments.
Requirements
- Diploma / ITI in Electrical / Mechanical
- 6 - 8+ years experience in Steel Plants
- Experience in Continuous Caster Machine (CCM)
