Job Overview

• We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cafe & Bakery Manager to oversee daily operations at our café and bakery located in GRA, Port Harcourt.
• The ideal candidate will lead a team in delivering exceptional customer service, maintain high product quality, and drive overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the café and bakery, ensuring smooth workflow and high service standards
• Supervise and coordinate front-of-house and back-of-house staff, including bakers, baristas, and waitstaff
• Maintain quality control over food and beverage preparation, presentation, and hygiene
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure cost-effective stock levels
• Train and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer experiences
• Monitor financial performance, prepare sales reports, and meet revenue targets
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Assist with marketing initiatives, promotions, and community engagement activities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Café/Bakery Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards and café/bakery operations
• Hands-on experience with POS systems and inventory management
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Customer-first mindset and excellent problem-solving skills
• Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred
