    Business Operations Manager

    Responsibilities
    Financing Functions:

    • Lead the preparation of Annual business plans and Budget
    • Track business performance indicators a against the financial modeling plan to ensure profitability
    • Ensure that objectives in terms of produce availability, input sales, produce volume, margin, quality and profitability are achieved in the region
    • Work with cross functional teams for the development of P&L, annual general reports, e.t.c

    Operational Functions:

    • Lead the implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
    • Lead the Operational Efficiency initiatives; ensuring a data-driven and results oriented approach across all channels
    • Leverage systems and process redesign to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality and efficiency on all logistics
    • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company
    • Support the implementation of work streams roles to ensure efficient implementation; ensure that deliverables are good quality and on time; ensure that business is on track.
    • Lead to ensure accountability for stocks through required periodic reporting (i.e weekly, Monthly, bi-annually and Annually) and ensure stock are well supported by applying required stock management tools in accordance
    • Lead the enforcement of optimum fleet management procedures and follows through to ensure available fleet is well documented and utilization is planned for in an effective / efficient manner.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
    • 5 - 7 years of experience with minimum of 3 years recent experience in Operations Management
    • Experience in the Agriculture sector will be added advantage
    • MBA will be added advantage
    • Budgeting and/or Commercial awareness is a must
    • Exceptional business acumen and presentation skills
    • Ability to manage all aspects of supply chain, from ordering to the shipment of goods.
    • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).

    Core Competencies:

    • Good experience and understanding of Agricultural products distribution or FMCG Supplier
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • Results-Driven
    • Strong reporting and accountability.
    • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel.
    • Strategic thinker, skilled planner, collaborative problem solver. Must demonstrate innovative and creative thought processes – exceptional “out of the box thinking” capabilities.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
