Business Development Manager - Consumable (Abuja) at Uni-Medical Healthcare Ltd Nigeria

JOB SUMMARY

As a Business Development Manager- Abuja –you are responsible for securing new revenue with Uni-Medical Healthcare Limited existing portfolio of customers as well as seeking out new customers with focus on hunting new businesses. The role is expected to have a focus on hunting new business and always ensures an excellent client experience and works in collaboration with the account teams to ensure smooth transition of accounts into the business.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• -Achieve personal sales targets by developing new business with existing and potential clients.
• -Take solutions and consultative sell approach to ensure customers’ needs are accurately met.
• -Create and implement a structured plan to achieve set targets.
• -Develop and implement sales strategies.
• -Undertake cold calling, ensuring that the number of calls meets call targets as set by management.
• -Schedule and attend client meetings, ensuring that number of meetings meets targets as set by management.
• -Participate in sales campaigns to drive revenue and increase product growth.
• -Help the business grow through social media product sales.
• -Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the account management team.
• -Prepare proposals and detailed costings and prepare contract documents for review by Sales Manager prior to negotiation with clients.
• -Develop new business relationships.
• -Present effective and professional presentations on Uni-Medical Healthcare products and services.

-Educational Qualification

• -B.sc/B.Tech in Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry and other science inclined courses.

Job Requirement

• Proven 3 + years experience in sales, business development  and other client- facing related role in the medical healthcare industry.
• B.sc/B.Tech in Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry and other science inclined courses.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• A high passion for building strong business relationships.
• Previous experience in Medical Consumables would be an added advantage
• Candidate must reside in Abuja to cover Abuja, Kogi and Niger
