Auto Maintenance Personnel at Greywood Hotels and Apartments

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and experienced Auto Maintenance Personnel to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the routine inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of company vehicles to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and roadworthy.
• The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to respond promptly to vehicle maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of company vehicles to identify mechanical faults and maintenance needs.
• Perform routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacement, lubrication, and basic engine maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle-related faults.
• Inspect and maintain braking systems, suspension, steering, tyres, batteries, and other vehicle components.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce vehicle breakdowns and extend vehicle lifespan.
• Respond promptly to vehicle breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle repairs, servicing, parts replaced, and maintenance schedules.
• Identify worn or faulty parts and recommend appropriate replacements.
• Work with approved mechanics, spare-parts suppliers, and external service providers when specialized repairs are required.
• Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and meet applicable safety and roadworthiness requirements.
• Monitor the condition and proper use of maintenance tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop or maintenance area.
• Advise management on major repairs, vehicle replacement needs, and maintenance costs.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of used oil, batteries, filters, and other automotive waste.
• Perform any other duties related to vehicle maintenance as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an NCE, OND, or HND with 1-2 years experience.
