Automative / Mechanical Engineering Professional at SAGLEV Electromobility Co. Nig Ltd

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive/Mechanical Engineering Professional to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in both automotive manufacturing/vehicle assembly and vehicle servicing, maintenance, and diagnostics. This is a technical role requiring practical industry experience and the ability to work independently.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Proven hands-on experience in both automotive manufacturing/vehicle assembly and vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
• Strong practical knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in vehicle assembly, commissioning, inspection, quality control, or production operations.
• Experience with automotive electrical and electronic systems is an added advantage.
• Experience working with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is highly desirable.
• EV/Hybrid vehicle experience is an added advantage.
• Experience in warranty diagnosis, technical reporting, job cards, and service documentation is an advantage.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
• Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform effectively in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Must be available to resume immediately.
• Candidates preferably resident in Lagos.

IMPORTANT

We are looking for a senior, highly practical technician—not an entry-level mechanic or graduate trainee.

Candidates MUST have practical experience in BOTH automotive manufacturing/vehicle assembly AND vehicle servicing/maintenance/repairs. Candidates who do not meet this requirement should NOT apply.
