Associate Director - Power Sales (Electricity Revenue Growth)
We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive Husk Power’s sales in a leadership position responsible for strategy, growth, cluster-level portfolio management, and enhancing customer value.
This role also encompasses organizational development.
Responsibilities
Sales process and performance management including new customer pipeline and revival strategy based on market condition updates. Forecasting sales and key account management.
Development of accurate segmentation and targeting of the market including identification of customer and market opportunities, market entry/expansion strategy.
Create community market intelligence packs to drive customer sizing and customer pricing decisions.
Establish scalable promotional tools and processes.
Manage sales P&L across the business portfolio by ensuring both topline growth and cost management.
Drive revenue per sales agent.
Market research across the HMG businesses, including but not limited to marketing, business development, review, and budgeting, across Husk sites and Potential Sites.
Work closely with Heads of other Business Units to understand sales/business performance trends and position partnership engagements adequately to support cross functional growth.
Build and maintain a high-performing sales team whilst promoting individual/team performance and a collaborative attitude across board.
Drive thought leadership engagements to ensure Husk maintains local visibility as an industry leader within the Mini Grids space.
Qualifications
Graduate from a leading institution with a related Degree in Sales, Business Management and Marketing.
Post Graduate Degree in Business and/or a related professional qualification, a plus.
10+ years of relevant sales experience, with 5 years in a similar role within the Energy, Insurance, Telecom, Banking or FMCG sector.
A clearly defined strategic thought process and a continuous improvement mindset with excellent problem- solving skills
This position requires an in-depth understanding of business development, sales, critical thinking and the ability provide time-bound solutions to the benefit of the company.
Hands-on experience in sales and marketing within rural areas (B2C)
Great relationship management skills and an understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
Excellent skills in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point.
