Job Description

• We are seeking a highly driven, commercially astute and entrepreneurial senior Relationship Manager to join our Wealth Management division.
• This role is central to the growth strategy of the firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating new ultra high net-worth (UHNW) client relationships, growing Assets Under Management (AUM).

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition:

• Originate and onboard new UHNW client relationships through personal networks, referrals, and strategic outreach
• Identify and pursue new opportunities across Abuja, Lagos, London, Chicago, and Dubai • Develop and execute a structured business development plan aligned with firm growth objectives
• Present the Firm’s value proposition to prospects and intermediaries
• Convert prospects into long-term advisory relationships

Retain client Assets Under Management (AUM):

• Drive measurable growth in AUM by achieving defined revenue and AUM growth targets Client Relationship Management
• Serve as primary relationship manager for assigned clients
• Develop deep understanding of client financial objectives, risk appetite, and longterm goals
• Coordinate with the Investment Advisory team to deliver tailored portfolio solutions
• Retain and grow existing client relationships through cross-selling and strategic engagement

Revenue & Performance Management:

• Achieve agreed AUM growth and revenue targets
• Monitor profitability of client relationships
• Identify opportunities to increase wallet share within existing relationships
• Support pricing discussions and fee negotiations in alignment with firm policy
• Contribute to the firm’s overall financial performance objectives Brand Representation & Market Positioning
• Represent the Firm at industry events, networking functions, and private forums
• Build relationships with professional intermediaries (lawyers, accountants, trustees, corporate advisors)
• Strengthen the firm’s market visibility within UHNW and family office circles

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in private banking, wealth management, family office, or asset management.
• BSc Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• MBA, CFA, CISI, or CFP® designation or equivalent qualification strongly preferred
• Portable book of UHNW/HNW client relationships preferred
• Strong understanding of multi-asset investment solutions and financial products
• Proven ability to grow revenue and meet performance targets
• Experience managing complex, multijurisdictional client relationships
• Strong network of UHNW clients and prospects.

Role

• Work directly with the Managing Partner to drive strategy, execution, and operational coordination.
• This is a developmental role with a path to Chief of Staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy: Prepare materials, research, translate discussions into action plans, track progress
• Exec Support: Manage agenda, act as gatekeeper, prep briefings, draft memos, follow up on actions
• Operations: Coordinate cross-functional projects, build trackers, monitor progress, improve workflows
• Performance: Build dashboards, analyze data, track budgets, monitor KPIs and engagement
• Governance: Drive collaboration, uphold reporting standards, support partner/investor engagements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred
• 7–10 years in management, consulting, or ops — financial services/strategy environment preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word; macOS tools a plus
• High discretion, maturity, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
