Assistant Maintenance Manager (Palletizer & Arox) at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc

Purpose

• To Plan, coordinate and execute all preventive and corrective maintenance activities on Palletizers, and Arox equipment towards ensuring maximum machine availability at minimum cost without compromising safety and efficiency.

The Job

• Participates in the inspection, receipt, installation and testing of new plant machinery or equipment and accessories to confirm specification and performance.
• Coordinates all preventive and corrective maintenance activities on overhead conveyors, palletizers, elevators, Trolleys, Arox Racking system machine and other related ancillary machines ensuring machines are performing at optimum operational efficiency at all times.
• Liaises with the maintenance planner and other relevant stake holders to prepare and develop a work plan/schedule for routine preventive maintenance of all equipment.
• Lead and effectively manage the performance of subordinates /team members towards the achievement of unit’s functional and overall organizational objectives.
• Awareness, understanding and application of departmental/process quality objectives.
• Prepare requisition list for material required to execute planned maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• BSc / HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Manufacturing or FMCG Industry.

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to balance drive for control with need for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Effective time management skills: adept at handling multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate high level of internal / self-motivation coupled with a strong sense/drive to deliver results.
