    Electrician (Corrective)

    Purpose

    • Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment and components in a variety of settings. 
    • The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, with adherence to safety protocol towards ensuring efficient and reliable electrical operations.

    The Job

    • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, control panels, and electrical equipment.
    • Perform regular inspections to ensure systems comply with codes and safety standards.
    • Diagnose electrical malfunctions and implement repairs.
    • Test electrical systems and components to ensure functionality using diagnostic tools like multi-meters and megger tester.
    • Ensure that all corrective repairs are diligently and professionally carried out to forestall a repeated cycle of breakdowns
    • Follow all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

    Qualifications

    • 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
    • Technical certification would be an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

    The Person Must:

    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and hand/power tools.

    Assistant Maintenance Manager (Planning)

    Purpose

    • To support the Maintenance Manager- Planning, in the planning and execution of planned maintenance schedules, updating work order feedback, preparing job packages, and ensuring accurate data entry in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for efficient plant uptime.

    The Job

    • Assist in preparing pre-planned job packages, including procedures, spare part lists, and manpower estimates.
    • Create and update preventive and corrective work orders in D365 based on planner-approved templates and requests.
    • Track work order feedback from technicians and enter job execution details (time taken, spare parts used, task completed.
    • Help maintain the asset register by updating basic asset data (condition, usage, location) under planner’s supervision.
    • Organize weekly maintenance logs, technician daily reports, and compliance documentation.
    • Visit job sites for data gathering to help develop accurate job plans.
    • Prepare summary dashboards or reports as directed by the Maintenance Manager- Planning.

    Qualifications

    • BSc / HND in Engineering / Applied Sciences.
    • Relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years’ cognate experience in a relevance field.

    The Person Must:

    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Have demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

    Assistant Maintenance Manager

    Purpose

    • To Plan, coordinate and execute all preventive and corrective maintenance activities on Rovema Packing machines, Buhler Packing machines, Carousels, and bag sealers towards ensuring maximum machine availability at minimum cost without compromising safety and efficiency.

    The Job

    • Participate in the inspection, receipt, installation and testing of new plant machinery or equipment and accessories to confirm specification.
    • Coordinates all preventive and corrective maintenance activities on conveyors, Rovema packing machines, Bag sealers, Buhler packing machines, Carousels and other related ancillary machines ensuring machines are performing at optimum operational efficiency at all times.
    • Liaises with the maintenance planner and other relevant stake holders to prepare and develop a work plan/schedule for routine preventive maintenance of all equipment.
    • Leads and effectively manage the performance of subordinates /team members towards the achievement of unit functional and organizational objectives.
    • Ensure documentation of all maintenance activities and prepare periodic activity report for the attention of maintenance manager-packing.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc / HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Manufacturing or FMCG Industry.

    Shift Maintenance Supervisor (Packing)

    Purpose

    • To Lead maintenance activities on Rovema, Buhler Packers, Carousels and other packing machines during assigned shift, ensuring professional maintenance practices, compliance with safety regulations, and the efficient use of resources.

    The Job

    • Ensures effective supervision of maintenance technicians.
    • Ensures the technicians are properly trained and equipped towards performing their tasks effectively.
    • Ensures downtime, waste and cost of maintenance on the packing machines are minimized.
    • Ensures that all maintenance activities are conducted safely, adhering to company policies and HSE regulations.
    • Ensures technicians adhere strictly to professional statutory and regulatory requirements in the use of tools and safety requirements.
    • Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and repairs performed in the shift.

    Qualifications

    • 5 O’ level / NABTEB credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
    • OND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

    Experience:

    • At least 2 years’ experience in a Manufacturing or FMCG Industry.

    The Person Must:

    • Have good written and verbal communication skills
    • Efficient planning and execution of maintenance schedules.
    • Ability to supervise and motivate a team of maintenance personnel.

    • Awareness, understanding and application of departmental/process quality objectives.
    • Prepare requisition list for material required to execute planned maintenance tasks.

    Qualifications

    • BSc / HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Manufacturing or FMCG Industry.

    The Person Must:

    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
