    Electrician (Corrective)

    Purpose

    • Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment and components in a variety of settings. 
    • The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, with adherence to safety protocol towards ensuring efficient and reliable electrical operations.

    The Job

    • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, control panels, and electrical equipment.
    • Perform regular inspections to ensure systems comply with codes and safety standards.
    • Diagnose electrical malfunctions and implement repairs.
    • Test electrical systems and components to ensure functionality using diagnostic tools like multi-meters and megger tester.
    • Ensure that all corrective repairs are diligently and professionally carried out to forestall a repeated cycle of breakdowns
    • Follow all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

    Qualifications

    • 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
    • Technical certification would be an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

    The Person Must:

    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and hand/power tools.
    • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
