Asphalt Pavement Supervisor at CGC Nigeria Limited (CGC)

Job Description

• Organize on-site construction according to the project plan, effectively managing and coordinating equipment, personnel, and materials for each asphalt pavement team.
• Control construction techniques for all asphalt pavement processes and guide foremen in their tasks.
• Manage and caculate for construction costs, ensuring all materials are used within standard.
• Oversee quality and safety, conducting regular inspections and solving issues independently.
• Adhering to the regulations and fulfilling other assigned tasks by the project.

Skill Requirements

• Individuals aged between 35 and 45 with backgrounds in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, and Project Management.
• Hold a valid COREN certification.
• Preference will be given to candidates holding certifications such as HSE, and PMP.
• Proficiency in computer usage and English business correspondence writing skills are required.
• Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in road and bridge construction, including at least 5 years of asphalt pavement construction management.
• Demonstrate strong skills in planning, execution, coordination, and interpersonal communication.
• Essential qualities include proactiveness, teamwork, strategic thinking, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• The position requires long-term work in NIGER state.
• Fixed work location, but frequent business trips may be required.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

• Bsc and above in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, and Project Management.
