To drive sales growth and brand visibility within a designated region by effectively managing a team of sales representatives, developing strong relationships with distributors and retailers, and implementing strategic sales initiatives aligned with the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute area sales plans to achieve or exceed targets.
Identify and onboard new distributors, retail outlets, and channel partners.
Monitor, manage, and support the performance of sales reps in the area.
Maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure brand loyalty.
Conduct regular market visits to assess product visibility, stock levels, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Provide training and guidance to field sales teams on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Gather market intelligence and report trends, opportunities, and challenges to senior management.
Ensure timely execution of promotional campaigns and in-store activation activities.
Track sales performance metrics and generate accurate reports.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience in FMCG, cosmetics, or beauty industry sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
Strong understanding of distribution channels and retail dynamics in Nigeria.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Goal-oriented with a passion for beauty and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with hair care or beauty industry trends.
Knowledge of local languages and cultural nuances in the assigned territory.
