Job Summary

• Foodstuff Store Ltd is seeking a reliable and detail - oriented Purchasing Officer to manage procurement activities at Dei Dei Market.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality goods, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely and cost - effective purchasing to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase goods from Dei Dei market in line with company requirements.
• Identify reliable vendors and build strong supplier relationships.
• Negotiate prices and ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Inspect purchased items to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights on pricing and availability.
• Ensure timely delivery of purchased items to designated locations.
• Work closely with internal teams to understand procurement needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. in any relevant field.
• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Dei Dei Market and its vendors.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and accountability.
• Must reside in or around Dei Dei, Abuja.
