    Area Sales Manager (Investment Banking)

    Job Summary

    • The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing a team of sales professionals, and expanding the company's client base within the designated region.
    • The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in achieving sales targets, fostering client relationships, and ensuring sustained business growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the region.
    • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives to deliver high performance and meet individual and team objectives.
    • Identify and secure new business opportunities by networking and building strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive client acquisition.
    • Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
    • Provide training, coaching, and support to the sales team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the company's financial products, services, and market positioning.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sales practices.

    Key Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales management, preferably within the asset management, investment, or financial services industry.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of driving sales success.
    • In-depth knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and market dynamics.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable sales strategies.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
