    Accountant

    • The Accountant will assist the Finance Department in managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with company and statutory financial regulations. The role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of accounting procedures and hospitality industry business operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Sales confirmation, sales summary, financial analysis, pos end of day report
    • Record, verify, and reconcile all financial transactions accurately.
    • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets and expense reports.
    • Reconcile bank statements and maintain up-to-date ledgers.
    • Process supplier invoices, staff reimbursements, and petty cash.
    • Assist with payroll preparation and statutory deductions (PAYE, VAT, Ogun State Tax, Pension etc.).
    • Ensure compliance with internal control policies and audit requirements.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records.
    • Support the Accountant in financial analysis and reporting to management.
    • Participate in end-of-month and end-of-year closing processes.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Valino, Moniebook, Sage).
    • Strong knowledge of tax laws and financial reporting standards.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Strong ethical standards and ability to handle confidential information.
