Job Summary

• We seek a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and laws.
• The Accountant will also provide financial analysis and support to management to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and support to management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, including tax laws and accounting standards.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports to management and regulatory bodies.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and ledger accounts.
• Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Financial Planning: Provide financial planning and support to management, including identifying areas for cost savings and improving financial performance.
• Auditing: Assist in the preparation for audits and ensure that financial records are accurate and complete.
• Other Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification an asset or IACAN
• Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and laws. Proficient in accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
