Expat Procurement Manager (Non Nigerians) at Maurice Xandra Solutions

Description:

• Our client operates in the Oil and Gas industry and urgently needs a Procurement Manager who will work from their Lagos office.
• Build and lead procurement team for the Group EPC business.
• Planning, Development and Implementation of Short and Long-range Goals, Objectives, Policies and Operating Procedures.
• Responsible for generation and implementation of Procurement related procedures, policies, templates, tools etc. for the organisation and Projects.
• Handle and manage Project  ITTs & RFQs, commercial evaluations, PO/Contract award, PO administration to final delivery and PO closeout.
• Provide procurement support to Bid, and when necessary, participate in bid reviews and evaluations.
• Provide support to Project Cost Controls in procurement-related activities, bid versus buy analysis and preparation of cash flow plans for Project Purchase Orders.
• Monitor and Review market conditions and price & delivery trends for project materials and equipment.
• Interface with Engineering Department, Construction Department and Vendors for all matters related to the procurement of Project materials, equipment and services scope.
• Develop and maintain a commercially sound Vendor base, survey the market for new supply sources including non-traditional ones and maintain Project “Approved Vendors List”
• Monitors and evaluates Project Procurement Operations are in line with Client’s requirement.
• Provide professional guidance to the procurement team to ensure uniform understanding of the project requirements and deliverables. Development and implementation of procurement metrics.
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organizational partnerships.
• Perform risk management for supply and service contracts and agreements.
• Provide Procurement Reports as and when necessary.
• Undertake performance appraisals for the Procurement Team.
• Ensuring compliance with Client and Company’s needs, Statutory Policies and Regulations.
