Procurement Consultant at Aldelia Limited

Job Purpose

• To procure goods and services in line with the company's and Group Operating Guidelines (OGs).
• To ensure that purchasing and procurement of goods and services is managed effectively and efficiently for both market and factory .
• To negotiate local contracts for non tobacco related spend.

Responsibilities

• Definition (in order to, what results)
• Monitor purchasing activities for goods and services inline with local and global sourcing plan, lead and manage the development of tactical contracts for non-tobacco materials/services for the local company, securing optimum price and delivery .
• Initiate, plan, develop and implement strategies for the improvement of the overall procurement process of all spend to maintain economy and efficiency of operation.
• Conduct negotiations of best purchasing value for the company, lead the negotiations of local contracts for Habanera Ltd. Identify and propose most cost effective ways of purchasing for the business.
• Develop procurement plans for the local operations including an efficient and effective annual negotiation calender

Requirements

• Work Experience: Minimum of 3 y ears experience in a managerial/supervisory position within a Procurement function.
• Experience with a multinational/Fmcg is preferable
• Tobacco Knowledge General tobacco industry knowledge required/preferable.
• Degree in Procurement or Business Administration.
