Procurement Officer at Bistar Limited

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in procurement, preferably within an engineering, construction, oil & gas, or related industrial environment.
• Ability to source and evaluate reliable suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Experience obtaining and comparing quotations, negotiating prices, and securing favourable commercial terms.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, delivery documentation, and supplier records.
• Ability to procure engineering materials, tools, equipment, spare parts, consumables, and general office/site requirements.
• Strong understanding of project procurement, cost control, and budget monitoring.
• Ability to track purchase orders from requisition through sourcing, approval, delivery, and documentation.
• Experience maintaining an organised procurement database and supplier/vendor register.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, accountability, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple procurement requests, and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant procurement/accounting software will be an advantage.
