Location: Egbeda, Lagos
Salary: ₦150,000 per month

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities and ensure that all team members carry out their assigned responsibilities efficiently and on time.

The successful candidate will supervise loaders and other warehouse staff, coordinate daily tasks, monitor productivity, maintain discipline, and ensure that warehouse operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate should be firm, organized, physically active, and capable of managing a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff and loaders.
• Assign daily tasks to team members and ensure tasks are completed within the required timeframe.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, productivity, and overall performance.
• Ensure loaders properly carry out loading, unloading, movement, and arrangement of goods.
• Ensure all warehouse staff remain focused on their assigned responsibilities.
• Monitor the handling, movement, and storage of goods to minimize damage or loss.
• Ensure goods are properly arranged and stored in designated areas.
• Coordinate loading and unloading activities to ensure smooth and timely operations.
• Check that daily operational targets are achieved.
• Identify delays, operational issues, or staff performance concerns and report them to management.
• Maintain discipline and ensure staff follow warehouse rules and procedures.
• Conduct routine checks of the warehouse to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper organization.
• Work with management to improve warehouse efficiency and staff productivity.
• Ensure proper use and care of warehouse equipment and materials.
• Prepare daily or weekly reports on warehouse activities and staff performance.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND or equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, inventory, or a related role.
• Previous experience supervising loaders or warehouse personnel is highly preferred.
• Must be able to manage and coordinate a team effectively.
• Must be firm, responsible, and capable of enforcing workplace standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to monitor multiple tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
• Must be physically active and comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
• Basic computer and reporting skills are an added advantage.
