• The ability to work under real-time deadline pressure, make quick news judgments and work well in a team environment is essential.

Requirements

•     Journalism experience is essential
•     Experience of working in a real-time news environment in desirable
•     Experience of covering financial news is essential
•     The successful candidate must be driven and used to operating in a challenging environment.
•     Contacts with government and industry officials and a familiarity with West Africa's political environment would be an advantage.
