Location: Monguno, Borno

Job Summary

• The Cash Assistant will be based in Monguno, Borno State and will be responsible for the management and implementation of the cash and voucher funded projects which is aimed at improving food access and nutrition for the vulnerable displaced and host populations at the community (LGA) level in the north-east Nigeria under the supervision of the Cash Officer.

Requirements
The successful candidate will:

• Have a minimum of Higher National Diploma in Accounting related field e.g. Accounting, Business Administration etc.
• Have a minimum of 1 year relevant working experience in banking, cash management and social approach.
• Have previous experience with food security, livelihood and cash programming.
• Be professional, good organizational capacity, good human relationships, motivated, open, creative, mature, responsible, flexible and, culturally sensitive.
• Computer literacy including all Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Be willing and able to be based and travel regularly within remote areas, where services are limited.
• Be fluent in Hausa and English.
• Good knowledge of the intervention area(s) and local economy.
• Have previous humanitarian programming experience.
• Previous experience with Action Against Hunger.
• Be committed to Action Against Hunger mission, values and policy.
