Quantity Surveyor at Tranter IT Infrastructure Services Limited

Requirements:

• B.Sc.or HND Quantity Surveying
• 1-3years working experience
• Excellent design and drafting skills and proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD)
• Experience as QS for a construction company would be an added advantage
• Must have excellent understanding of how to prepare valuations and variation claims
• Must have good understanding of how to perform cost control analysis, and draw up reports on changes to work and contractor’s claims.
• Must understand the various methods of valuing preliminaries for an ongoing project
• Must understand how to prepare material and labour schedule
• Willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Willingness to work long hours, under time and budget pressure
• Organisational, project management and planning skills, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks
