    People Operations Coordinator

    Job Purpose

    • The People Operations Coordinator will be responsible for operational support, maintaining accurate employee data and files, and serve as a Gokada culture champion and HR subject matter expert.
    • We are seeking an individual who is highly organized, a detailed self-starter and passionate about creating a seamless and delightful employment experience for our workforce.

    Job Dimensions

    • The role will require great project management skills as the successful candidate will own multiple projects to support the scale of a world class people function while providing top notch customer service to our employees and managers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as subject matter expert of HRIS system: including end user support for HR team and the business, assisting with definition, documentation of business processes, and troubleshooting
    • Help create an incredible employee experience by owning the onboarding and offboarding tasks for an ever growing employee population
    • Be the go to person on the People Ops team for employees to come to with any and all questions
    • Process ongoing employee data changes in HRIS and other people systems to ensure our people data is always top notch
    • Provide additional support to the People Operations and Employee Experience teams in areas such as benefits, immigration, leaves of absence, company surveys and performance reviews
    • Assist with people team compliance standards and practices
    • Ensure company-wide payroll remains up to date
    • Support all compensation decisions through data collection and analyses
    • Work closely with the Chief People Officer to ensure all People functions are working seamlessly

    Key Requirements

    • 2+ years HR generalist experience
    • BA/B.Sc Degree
    • Ability to think outside of the box and work in a fast paced, shifting environment
    • Strong attention to details and organizational skills
    • Ability to exercise good judgement and discretion, maintaining confidentiality when required
    • Self-directed problem solver with a desire to contribute to the organization and departments success
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with on-boarding new employees
    • Experienced within Google Drive and Microsoft 365.
