    Head of Training Department

    Responsibilities & Duties

    • Ensuring that the Training Department generates revenue to the Institute
    • Responsible for holding of trainings at the Institute and in different parts of the country
    • Responsible for maintaining a register of resource persons for the trainings of the Institute
    • Soliciting and organizing foreign trainings that would generate revenue to the Institute
    • Responsible for formulating and execution of training programmes
    • Responsible for marketing the Institute's training programmes
    • Maintaining a database of all participants who attend the Institute's workshops
    • Reviewing and advising the Registration all proposals received at the Secretariat for collaborations
    • Ensuring that the targeted budget for the department is achieved
    • Liaising with other training institutes towards buildings symbiotic and synergetic relationship for the benefit of the Institute
    • Responsible for carrying out research towards building contents for the training department.
    • Working closely with other departments towards the overall realization of the set goals of the Institute
    • Responsible for the performance of any other duties as may be assigned by the Registrar/CEO.

    Requirements

    • Must have a University Degree in any of the Social Sciences and the Humanities
    • Must have at least 7 years relevant working experience with the last 2 being in a Management position
    • Must be between 40 - 50 years of age.
    • Membership of the Institute will be an added advantage.
