    BSWA Umbilicals Package Lead

    Description

    • Delivery of the BSWA Umbilical system, and field installation of all associated infrastructure in accordance with the Client's policies and standards, ready for introduction of hydrocarbons by Q2 2022, within budget and no LTI recorded
    • Establish and implement HSSE and quality management systems within the Umbilicals / Subsea distribution team
    • Develop and implement project management systems including cost, schedule/progress, quality and HSSE monitoring and reporting
    • Participate actively as a member of the BSWA Subsea & Pipelines (SS&PL) leadership team
    • Support the SS&PL Manager in managing the commercial scope, and with engagement and relationship management of external stakeholders
    • Lead the Umbilicals Project Team, and manage the activities of the team through design, construction installation and support commissioning of the BSWA Umbilicals scope
    • Develop the tender documents for the BSWA Umbilicals scope, including bidders’ selection
    • Develop the contract evaluation criteria (including cost and schedule estimates), lead and manage the contract evaluation team during the evaluation process
    • Develop and implement the Contract Execution Plan and elements of the Basis of Design relating to the BSWA Umbilicals scope
    • Ensure that system wide integration and integrity are managed. Manage interfaces with other EPC contracts, and the BSWA Process Team including implementation of required technical assurance on own scope
    • Ensure the achievement of the Nigerian Content Development objectives
    • Manage the HSSE performance of contractors during execution to ensure HSSE targets are met or exceeded – make HSSE a priority
    • Champion compliance with all installation related HSSE&SP requirements as defined in the contract scope.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with at least 15 years experience in upstream EP projects with emphasis on Design, manufacture, testing and installation of Subsea Umbilicals and distribution systems, preferably in the deepwater environment
    • At least 10 years experience directly related to delivery of umbilical and subsea distribution packages.
    • Understanding of deepwater developments and played a leadership role in at least one major deepwater development project involving subsea infrastructure, and major deepwater field installation
    • Ability to work with and influence multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams
    • Demonstrated capability to proactively implement plans, following through with sustained execution, meeting project milestones
    • Experience in managing major EPC contracts
    • Familiar with project development challenges in Nigeria or in other regions with similar challenges
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Skillful at leading through influence
    • Values and is open to listening to stakeholder perspectives, including experience managing multiple stakeholders.
    • Maintain composure under pressure while providing clear and decisive leadership
    • Visibly demonstrate personal and company HSE commitment.
    • Ability to deal with multiple, often conflicting, goals and priorities
    • Demonstrated effectiveness in driving change

    Contracting Management Advisor I

    Description

    • Contracting and Materials Management Strategy Development
    • Ensure that the organization properly translates
    • project specific objectives and strategies into appropriate Contracting and Materials Management Strategies
    • Provide advice to Project Management on quality issues and support effort to resolve them
    • Ensure that the Contracting Strategy Workshops (CSWs): consider appropriate alternatives and objective criteria for evaluation and selection of lead case and fallback options, utilize appropriate broad based market intelligence in assessing contractor interests, capabilities and compensation options and consider partner requirements / constraints
    • Support the organization in review and endorsement of proposed contracting strategies Contract Planning
    • Ensure that screening / pre-qualification activities engage an appropriately broad contractor community, with the necessary critical questions / evaluations
    • Support the organization in review and endorsement of proposed bid slate
    • Ensure that bid review plans incorporate best practices and apply the most weight to critical success / failure criteria
    • Support the organization in review and endorsement of proposed contract award recommendation Contract Administration
    • Ensure that complex administration matters such as incentive plans and major claims resolution receive appropriate scrutiny and strategic / critical thinking prior to implementation Skill Development
    • Support the Senior Contracts Engineering Consultant in mentoring and development of SMEs, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Specialists, and Contracts Engineer (CE) Advisors
    • Support the equipping and education of personnel in project contracting
    • Serve as a trainer in contracting sponsored courses (Contract Planning, Development and Administration (CPDA), Bid Review, Advanced Contracts Strategy Management (ACSM) )
    • Support the Sr. Contracts Engineering Consultant and management in assessing organizational competencies and skill development plans External Engagement
    • Support planning and engagement of contractor executive management as necessary in furthering strategic relationships, development of emerging contractors, and resolution of critical issues
    • Engage as necessary with partners to educate on Company contracting processes, MI, and strategy development
    • Engage with Company Affiliate contracting professionals to share learnings Organization, Systems, Processes, Procedures
    • Support / champion the continuous improvement and incorporation of company's lessons learned
    • Support the Sr. Contracts Engineering Consultant and management in assessing that the organization and its systems, processes, procedures are delivering the intended business results.

    Job Requirements

    • 15+ years’ experience in contracts engineering / administration / materials management required,
    • 20+ years preferred
    • 7+ years’ experience in project leadership required
    • BS in Engineering preferred(Indicate Class of Degree)
    • Broad understanding of project execution and contracting principles, theories, and concepts
    • Expert in commercial negotiations, contractor management and contract administration
    • Willing to business travel or relocate to project sites (domestic / overseas)
    • Management experience on major project
    • Owner/Operator experience in project management roles.
