 Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the finance and accounting functions of Company and its related entities in Nigeria.
• Ensures that all tax and statutory requirements are with necessary authorities.
• Liaise with auditors, bankers and tax agents
• Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly and annual financial reports to head office including monthly project cost reports
• Prepare quarterly forecast and budgets
• Monitor cash flow and collectibles
• Implement internal controls
• Manage inventory and assets

Education and Professional Qualification

Minimum - Degree in Accountancy and preferably a Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant

Experience

• At least 5 years’ experience as a Finance Manager in Nigeria, with some years in the maritime and oil & gas industry with audit background
• Sound knowledge of Nigerian Accounting principles, Practices, Laws and Regulations
• Sound knowledge of banking requirements
• Experience with Project Costing
• Strong spoken and written communication skills

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Selection, recruitment, and rotation planning for officers/crew on dedicated fleet
• Ensure compliance with Company policies, HSSEQ, MLC 2006, STCW 2010, IOC Competence Matrix, and Flag State requirements
• Management of assigned vessels
• Set individual SMART goals as agreed each year
• Arrange and coordinate crew travel with appointed Marine travel providers
• Compliance with training matrix applicable each for each rank per vessel and ensure compliance with oil major or a Ship Owner’s crew matrix requirements as applicable
• To provide regular crew status update as per specific Owners requirement
• Verify document compliance by the respective manning agent prior Officers joining (National and Flag State, medicals, D&A, visa’s, etc.)
• Assist in preparing the annual crewing budgets for each assigned key account

Education and Qualification
High School Diploma or University degree

Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience as Crewing Executive handling PSVs, AHTS, MOPU & FPSO vessels
