Identify and aggressively pursue new business opportunities in the oil & gas, construction, and engineering sectors across Nigeria and international markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
Lead end-to-end business development cycles — from prospect identification, RFQ/tender responses, and negotiations, to contract closure.
Develop and execute market entry strategies to expand DGR's client base and service portfolio in targeted regions.
Represent DGR at industry events, trade shows, and stakeholder meetings to position the company as atop-tier contractor and supplier.
Collaborate with technical, operations, and finance teams to develop competitive bids and winning proposals.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to continuously sharpen DGR's value proposition.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a strong advantage.
Minimum of 5–8 years of proven business development experience, ideally within oil & gas, construction, or civil engineering in Nigeria.
Deep understanding of the Nigerian oil & gas landscape, procurement processes, and key stakeholders (NNPC, NCDMB, NUPRC, IOCs).
Demonstrated track record of winning contracts, growing revenue, and managing high-value client relationships.
Strong commercial acumen — you understand margins, contract terms, and what it takes to close deals profitably.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. You can hold a room and hold your ground.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and proposal/bid writing.
