    Job Description

    • Guest Interaction: Welcome and seat guests, explain specials, answer menu questions, and make recommendations.
    • Order Management: Accurately take orders (using notepad/tablet) and relay them to kitchen/bar staff.
    • Service & Delivery: Serve food and drinks efficiently and professionally.
    • Payment Processing :Prepare bills, handle cash/card payments, and process transactions.
    • Dining Area Maintenance: Set tables, clear dirty dishes, and keep the area clean and organized.
    • Teamwork: Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and other staff to ensure smooth service.
    • Product knowledge:Ability to upsell products and has knowledge of sales.

    Essential Skills & Requirements

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long hours.
    • Patience, professionalism, and a friendly demeanor.
    • Basic math for handling payments and good coordination.
    • Knowledge of food safety is often required.

    Porter

    Job Description

    • Guest Services: Greet guests, carry luggage to rooms, explain room features (TV, AC), deliver messages and room service orders.
    • Information & Assistance: Answer questions about the hotel, local attractions, arrange transport (taxis, tours), and make reservations.
    • Errands: Pick up dry cleaning, manage deliveries, and run errands for guests.
    • Security: Assist with security checks, fire safety, and help guests with special needs (e.g., physical challenges).
    • Cover the front desk, check in/out late arrivals/early departures,dealing with enquiries by phone and face-to-face
    • Using the computer to check in guests arriving late, and check out those leaving early.

    Essential Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Friendly, polite, and a strong team player.
    • Physically fit to carry luggage and stand for long periods.
    • Resourceful and reliable.
