We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Vocational Trainer to deliver impactful training programs on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Climate Change, and Basic Solar Installation to individuals and communities nationwide.
This is a contract role requiring willingness to travel across Nigeria.
Responsibilities
Facilitate engaging training sessions on SDGs, climate change awareness, and basic solar installation
Develop and adapt training materials to suit diverse community audiences
Travel to communities, schools, and partner locations across Nigeria to deliver programs
Track and report on participant progress and training outcomes
Support the team in designing new curriculum and program improvements
Represent Solardero Foundation professionally in all community engagements
Skills & Requirements
Education: HND or equivalent; a background in Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, Education, or related field is an added advantage
Experience: 2–5 years in training, facilitation, or a related field
Strong knowledge of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and climate change concepts
Basic understanding of solar energy systems and installation
Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
Experience in community training, adult education, or vocational instruction
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Nigeria
Self-motivated, adaptable, and mission-driven
Proficiency in English; knowledge of local Nigerian languages is an advantage.
Remuneration
Competitive contract rate, based on experience.
