    Marketing Executive - 3 Openings

    Job Description

    • Under general supervision, establishes and administers programs for targeting recruitment and retention of students in graduate or undergraduate programs for the Student Recruitment office.
    • Serves independently in all areas of territorial management and accountability.
    • Visits schools and makes presentations to groups and individuals. Coordinates recruitment efforts and serves as primary point of contact for the assigned territory and internal coordination of the Institute participation in outreach activities.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Visits secondary schools, Churches and colleges, speaks to groups and individual students, and meets with school counselors, church leadership and administrators to promote outreach activities within assigned territory and as required to assist other recruiters.
    • Manages and coordinates community workshops, retreats, and recruitment efforts; arranges visits and tours for prospective students and parents.
    • Serves independently as the point person for internal coordination of Institute student recruitment and enrollment management goals utilizing specific knowledge gained of admissions, registration criteria and financial aid and/or scholarship information and deadlines.
    • Coordinates and implements various recruitment programs and marketing strategies for territorial or local on-site admission programs and special events relating to targeted freshman, transfer, or under-represented groups in the fulfillment of recruitment efforts.
    • Provides career and academic counseling, planning, and advising to potential students utilizing specific knowledge gained of the Institute's educational programs and degrees.
    • Serves independently as territorial manager to develop and maintain partnerships between the Institute's and local school systems throughout the assigned territory.
    • Serves as the point person for oversight of territorial recruitment goals and promotional and public relations accountability Prepares reports and proposals, and responds to inquiries from students and minority agencies.
    • Develops operating goals and objectives for the unit; implements and administers methods and procedures to enhance operations, as appropriate to the unit.
    • Creates, packages, monitors and distributes resource materials for student recruitment and retention programs; develops mentorship programs; analyzes trends in recruitment and retention programs; develops strategies for program evaluation.
    • Guides and oversees the work of lower graded staff and/or student employees when engaged in directly related support activities; may participate in employee training and evaluative sessions.
    • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree / HND at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

    Locations: Abuja (FCT), Benue and Cross River

    Salary : N50,000 - N70,000 / month.

    Director - Membership & Programmes

    Job Description

    The Director of Membership & Programmes is responsible for managing member engagement strategy in collaboration with the other key stakeholders internally, i.e. National divisions and externally, i.e. Region and Chapter leadership.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Head and work with Membership Department staff to develop and execute a plan for membership growth and retention by identifying a short-term and long-term strategy and initiatives, both in-person and online approaches.
    • Must be willing to secure and run the State office under the directives of the Registrar; essential
    • Must be willing to secure contacts and work with N.Y.S.C State officials for the purpose of organizing training and induction for prospective members.
    • Provide the strategic direction for, and management of, a marketing program supporting the Membership program to achieve membership growth
    • Monitor and review effectiveness of current membership programs and make recommendations on streamlining or conclude these efforts
    • Work with Director of Membership Operations to manage the membership annual renewal process and develop a strategy to onboard all new members including follow-up and other personal connections.
    • Partner with key volunteers and staff to assess the existing benefits of membership and work to ensure they are relevant and interesting. Make recommendations for new Member programs, and benefits.
    • Conduct member surveys to assess our programs, resources and membership initiatives and make recommendations for deepening member value and engagement.
    • Strategize content and resources for Membership initiatives, such as brochures, enrollment forms, website and social media updates in collaboration with key division volunteers and marketing staff.
    • Ensure that programs are implemented with high quality in accordance with the Institute's National priorities.
    • Ensure department’s planning/operations support the organization’s larger goals and objectives.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Sales & Marketing.

    Required Knowledge, Education or Experience

    • M.A, M.Sc / M.Ed or equivalent with 7-10 years of management experience; MBA preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and proofreading skills
    • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge of marketing strategy and complete marketing cycle
    • Experience managing lists for email and direct mail communications
    • Experience with social media and on-line marketing
    • Technologically proficient with a solid understanding of and ability to use appropriate software products, such as Microsoft Office Suite M.I.S softwares
    • Applicants must be resident in the chosen State.

    Remuneration : N170,000 Monthly.
