    Trainee Operations Officer

    Job Summary

    • This position is open to young graduates who have completed their NYSC and are looking to build a career in Operations, as well as graduates with 1 year post-NYSC experience in operations.
    • The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting daily operational activities, ensuring efficiency, and assisting in process improvements. This role provides an excellent opportunity for career growth in a dynamic work environment.
    • The position will report directly to the Operations Executive.

    Responsibilities

    • Participate in structured training programs on company operations.
    • Learn and assist in key operational tasks under supervision.
    • Support data entry, reporting, and documentation.
    • Observe and gain practical experience in process management.
    • Assist in problem-solving and process improvement initiatives.
    • Prepare reports and presentations based on operational data.
    • Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure timely completion.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a Higher National Diploma, HND / Bachelor's Degree, B.Sc in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or any related academic field.
    • 0–1 years of experience in operations, administration, logistics, or a similar field.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Good organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work independently and within a team.
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
    • Understanding of basic operational procedures and business workflows.

    Operations Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking an Operation Officer to oversee daily operational activities such as delivery schedule at depots and timely deliveries to customers and vendors with no stock loss, timely collection and filling of signed waybills from truck drivers as evidence of product delivered, management of stock with vendors and periodical reconciliation of product lifted and products received by customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Dispatch trucks loaded with products to customers/vendors timely with all necessary documents based on request
    • Ensure that safe-to-load checks are carried out on every truck before loading products and that loading trucks complies with safety and other regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor and report on key operational metrics.
    • Collate duly signed returned waybills from truck drivers and customers’ evidence of receipt of products, and collaborate with accounts to ensure timely invoicing of products.
    • Prepare reconciliation statement of products sent to customers/vendors and products received by them, noting quantity variance, daily, weekly, and monthly.
    • Prepare accurate reports of activities of all truck movements and deliveries to customers/vendors noting product loss quantities.
    • Prepare reconciliation statement of product receipts/purchased and issues/sold in quantity periodically.
    • Month-end checks, stock-taking from various customers /vendor

    Requirements

    • 1–3 years of experience in operations, administration, logistics, or a similar field.
