    Senior Business Development Officer

    Position Overview:

    We are in search of a highly skilled and motivated Senior Business Development Officer to join our dynamic Business Development team. This role is integral to enhancing our organizational culture and ensuring that our Business Development aligns with our strategic goals. The successful candidate will be a Professional Business Developer with a deep understanding of Strategic Planning and Implementation, Customer Management, Market Analysis and Budgeting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to meet Buckler Systems’ growth targets.
    • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
    • Proactively identify and generate new business leads through research, networking, and industry events.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and business opportunities.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
    • Understand client needs and provide customized solutions to meet their requirements.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
    • Negotiate terms and close agreements to achieve revenue targets and foster long-term partnerships.
    • Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to align strategies and ensure successful execution of business development initiatives.
    • Collaborate on the development of marketing materials and client-facing content.
    • Track and analyze business development performance metrics, including lead conversion rates, sales forecasts, and revenue growth.
    • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on progress and outcomes.
    • Stay current with industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive activities.
    • Use market insights to inform strategy and enhance the company’s competitive positioning.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • At least 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of success leading a relevant team in achieving business growth and developing strategic partnerships preferably within the Manufacturing Sector.
    • Strong Leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation and reporting skills, ability to think strategically and analytically to drive business outcomes.
    • Proven success in managing complex sales processes and securing high-value contracts.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Suites, CRM software and business analytics tools.

    Mechanical Design Engineer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Innovative Design: Collaborate with our team to conceptualize and develop advanced armored vehicle designs and defense technologies.
    • Technical Expertise: Apply your engineering skills to create detailed plans, specifications, and prototypes that meet rigorous defense standards.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Problem-solving: Address technical challenges with innovative solutions, ensuring the functionality, safety, and durability of our products.

    Qualifications And Experience

    • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience: Proven experience in design engineering, preferably within the defense or automotive industry and a keen interest in and knowledge of all defense issue
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and a strong understanding of materials science and structural analysis and familiarity with technical specifications
    • Innovative Mindset: A passion for military and security technology, with the ability to think creatively and develop groundbreaking solutions.
    • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to design, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

    Business Development Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive company growth in the defense and armored vehicle sector.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor analysis, and opportunities for new product development.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients and partners.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop strategies that align with business objectives.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for Buckler Systems and our clients.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
    • 3 to 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
    • Proven track record of achieving business growth and exceeding sales targets.
    • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in the defense or automotive sector.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently, with a strategic mindset and a focus on results.
    • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
