    Senior Associate, Audit

    Job Description

    • The job holder would be required to execute audit assignment as assigned, prepare report of findings and carry out various financial analysis.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.
    • Review the work of Audit Associates and provide on-the-job training and feedback to engagement team members.
    • Identify key risks to business objectives, evaluating and testing controls in place and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Timely completion of audit files and assignments, ensuring work is produced to the required standard and deadlines.
    • Produce audit reports at the conclusion of assigned engagements, to meet the required standard for reporting.
    • Optimize client's feedback on audit process and report by ensuring regular and timely communication with clients.
    • Building and expanding on skills by engaging in trainings.

    Required Minimum Qualifications

    • Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any relevant field with a minimum of second class upper or upper credit.
    • Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria or its equivalent.
    • 2 - 4 years relevant work experience.

    Audit Associate

    Job Description

    • The job holder will assist in the execution of external audit assignments.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct assigned task on audit engagements successfully from start to finish.
    • Identify and communicate issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant to risk.
    • Ensure audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances and risk.
    • Timely completion of audit files and assignments, ensuring work is produced to the required standard and deadlines.
    • Interact with clients to help ensure that the information flow from client to the audit team is efficient.
    • Optimize client's feedback on audit process and report by ensuring regular and timely communication with clients.
    • Escalate client technical queries to team lead and ensure all queries on assigned tasks are closed off.

    Required Minimum Qualifications

    • Degree or HND with a minimum of second-class upper or upper credit.
    • 1 - 3 years relevant work experience.
    • Not more than 26 years by December 2022.

    Other Requirements:

    • Communication skills (including oral, written, report writing and presentation).
    • Problem identification and solution skills (including core, conceptual, and analytical thinking).
    • Keeping up to date with industry and regulatory changes and professional standards.

    Required Minimum Qualifications
    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
    • Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in IT consulting, with a focus on enterprise-level solutions.
    • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing consulting projects, teams, and client relationships.
    • Strong business acumen and ability to understand and align IT solutions with clients' strategic objectives.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, executives, and team members.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including coaching, mentoring, and motivating a diverse team.
    • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
