    Quality Control Officer (Plastic Industry) - Sango Ota

    A Quality Control Officer in the plastics industry inspects raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure they meet strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards, using measurement tools and testing methods, documenting defects, training staff, and collaborating on continuous process improvements to minimize waste and enhance product reliability. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Inspection & Testing: Perform visual and dimensional checks, durability tests, and functional assessments on plastic materials and finished goods.
    • Standards Compliance: Verify products meet company specs, industry regulations (like FDA if food-related), and customer requirements.
    • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records, prepare reports on quality KPIs, and log non-conformities for traceability.
    • Process Monitoring: Oversee production stages, identify issues in machinery or workflows, and ensure adherence to quality protocols.
    • Problem Solving: Investigate defects, identify root causes, and work with production teams on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
    • Training: Train production staff on quality standards and proper inspection techniques.
    • Continuous Improvement: Participate in quality teams, develop new procedures, and suggest ways to optimize processes and reduce waste. 

    Essential Skills & Knowledge:

    • Understanding of plastics, materials science, and manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding).
    • Proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers) and inspection equipment.
    • Knowledge of quality systems (ISO) and regulatory standards.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. 

    Salary: 100k - 150k

    Work Timing: 7am - 7pm (Day and Night Shift)
