    Programme Officers - Girl H Project

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and execute programme activities in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Development and implementation of programme strategies/work plans.
    • Collection, analysis and presentation of information needed for programme development and implementation
    • Develop and implement project communication strategies
    • Assist in preparation, filing, compilation and dissemination of documents/materials relating to the programme Preparation of reports on the findings and lessons learned from the project

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years of work experience.
    • Prior experience working as a Programme Assistant in a relevant field
    • Proficient with computer technology and Microsoft Office applications
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
    • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
    • Strong attention to detail with an extraordinary ability to multitask
    • Strong training & facilitation skills.

    Desirable:

    Monitoring & Evaluation Officer - Girl H Project

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures
    • Monitor all project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the project output;
    • Develop monitoring and impact indicator for the project success;
    • Monitor the sustainability of the project's results;
    • Provide feedback to the Programme Manager on project strategies and activities;
    • Suggest strategies to the Programme Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks;
    • Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities to the programme manager
    • Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops and assists the programme manager in preparing relevant reports;
    • Assist the project personnel with M&E tools and in supporting them in their use.
    • Prepare Issues Log and Risk Log for the project

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years work experience.
    • Experience in the design and implementation of M&E/MIS in development projects implemented by national/international NGOs
    • Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports;
    • Proven ICT skills, especially in the development of MIS software using database software;
    • Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software;

    Desirable:

    Programme Manager - Girl H Project

    Job Summary

    • The Programme Manager - Girl H Project performs a vital role with responsibility for the overall coordination and quality assurance of the Girl H - Project.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise project activities across different LGAs in Lagos State
    • Compile Monthly reports
    • Provide guidance and maintain frequent communications with Programme Partners.
    • Analyze and troubleshoot programme challenges.
    • Develop best practices to improve overall programme performance
    • Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for the programme.
    • Conduct programme reviews and prepare reports for management.

    Requirements

    • Graduate in any discipline with experience in working with vulnerable and out-of-school persons
    • Minimum of 2 years experience.
    • Work experience as a social worker is an added advantage
    • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes
    • Good understanding of the procurement process including negotiation with third parties
    • Good knowledge of programme and project management methods
    • Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
    • Ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems

    Desirable:

    • Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project team.
