YouTube Channel Manager (Technical Product Reviews) at TVZ Corp

We are seeking an experienced and motivated YouTube Channel Manager for Tech to join our team.

Your role will be to create a channel in the Tech niche, mostly centered around long-form content in website building, web presence, web security, online privacy & affiliate industry.

As a channel manager, you will be the leader responsible for building the channel from scratch, planning & creating the content to be uploaded, optimizing our YouTube Channel to drive engagement, and viewership, build subscriber base and overall growth.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage our YouTube channel from scratch. Knowledge of technical topics like Wordpress, website, affiliate industry, web security, online privacy, VPN is required.
• Create a strategic plan for 6 months & implement it to grow channel subscribers, views & monetize it.
• Research keywords, competitors & create a roadmap of the content to be uploaded on the channel. 
• Hire, manage & lead remote YouTube channel team of editors, content writers to create scripts for videos.
• Create & report KPIs, and performance metrics to stakeholders
• Optimize video tags, metadata, thumbnails, titles and descriptions to improve discoverability, search visibility and rankings for target keywords.
• Monitor comments, and engage with the community to drive engagement.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify trending topics, keywords, and video formats in your niche to capitalize on.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and YouTube algorithm changes.
• Monitor metrics & track performance of posted videos.
• Identify problems & come up with solutions that will drive results
• Explore, shortlist, interact with potential advertisers and sponsors to forge partnerships and come with monetization strategies for the channel.

Qualifications / Requirements

• University Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, and Media or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years proven experience in similar roles managing, growing and monetizing YouTube Channel in Technology or similar segment.
• Understanding of best YouTube SEO practices, latest Algorithms, and familiarity of Analytics tools.
• Proficiency in video editing tools/software & other technical aspects would be a plus.
• Candidates should Have basic working tools required for the job.
• Effective communication, strong leadership & team management skills.
• Ability to come up with ideas and solutions to get results and stay ahead of the curve.
• Passion to stay updated with the latest trends in the industry.
• Passion for being updated with latest Technologies.
