    Project Manager

    Job Responsibilities:

    Project Planning

    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including project scope, budget, schedule and resource allocation.
    • Create project timelines, milestones, deliverables for each project at hand.

    Construction Expertise

    • Possess specialized knowledge in road and bridge construction, including construction methods, materials and relevant regulations.
    • Oversee the construction of roads, bridges and related infrastructure projects.

    Quality Control

    • Ensure that all roadworks and bridge construction work adheres to the design specification and meets industry standards and safety regulations.
    • Implement quality control processes and inspection.

    Budget Management

    • Monitor project costs and expenditures, controlling the project’s financial performance.
    • Address cost overruns and implement cost-saving measures when necessary.

    Time Management

    • Manage project schedules to meet deadlines and milestones.

    Safety and Environmental Considerations

    • Maintain detailed project records and documentation, including progress reports, change orders and construction documentation
    • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to management and stakeholders.
    • Address any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or its equivalent from a reputable University
    • MBA/M.Sc. is an added advantage
    • Minimum of 7 years’ relevant professional experience with at least 5 years in asenior management role
    • Proven experience as a Project Manager in roadworks and bridge construction projects.
    • In-depth knowledge of road and bridge construction techniques, materials and best practices.
    • Strong leadership, team management and communication skills.
    • Familiarity with relevant regulations, permits and safety standards in the
    • construction industry.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is an added advantage.

    Foreman Kerbs Installer

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Plan kerb stone installation, including arranging materials and allocating crews.
    • Collaborate with other foremen to ensure work execution is timely, quality and safely.
    • Supervise and manage a team of kerb stone installers
    • Train and develop installers on proper techniques and equipment handling.
    • Ensure adequate control of materials, including kerb stones, bedding, and installation.
    • Monitor equipment and material usage and report any discrepancies or shortages.
    • Report Manpower daily (Manpower Time Sheet).

    REQUIREMENT:

    • Bsc in any relevant field
    • Know-how of civil activities mainly kerbs installation and Precast of drains and box culverts.
    • Strong understanding of materials control.
    • English communication skills.
    • Manpower supervision.
    • Ability to work independently, follow superior instructions, and as part of a team.
    • A proven track record in the construction industry, specifically installation of Kerbs and precast in the field of asphalt road construction and associated civil activities.

    Foreman Concrete Production

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Plan and execute concrete works, including precast and site concrete pouring.
    • Arranging materials and allocating crews for concrete production activities.
    • Collaborate with batching plant operators, carpentry and steel fixing, other foremen to ensure timely, quality and safe work execution.
    • Train and develop masons and helpers on proper techniques and equipment handling.
    • Monitor equipment/ mixers, tools, precast molds, and material usage and report any shortages.
    • Report Manpower daily (Manpower Time Sheet / Concrete production report)
    • Monitor team performance and provide feedback to superiors for improvement.

    REQUIREMENT:

    • BSC in any relevant field
    • A proven track record in the construction industry, specifically concrete production, precast, and pouring at site, in the field of asphalt road construction and associated civil activities.
    • Know-how of concreting activities, including precast of drains and box culverts.
    • Strong understanding of material control, production planning, and concrete quality.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and follow superior instructions.
    • English communication skills.
