    Porter

    Job Brief

    • We are looking for a Porter to serve as the first point of contact to assist our guests.
    • Porter responsibilities include carrying guests’ luggage.
    • be successful in this role, you should be able to manage various tasks on a daily basis to ensure great customer service and that our operations run smoothly.

    Responsibilities

    • Carry and label guests’ luggage with tags
    • Ensure building entrance is free of clutter at all times
    • Direct guests to the reception area or the appropriate office/room
    • Run errands for guests and employees
    • Fix minor technical issues
    • Report damages, call technicians and monitor repairs
    • Comply with health and safety regulations
    • Follow evacuation rules in case of emergencies.

    Requirements & Skills

    • High School Diploma is a plus
    • 1-3 years of previous work experience as a Porter
    • Good physical condition, stamina and strength (e.g. to lift heavy equipment and luggage)
    • Familiarity with security regulations
    • Solid verbal communication skills to interact with cleaning staff, technicians and customers
    • Basic mechanical skills.

    Experience:

    • Candidates for the advertised positions will require cognate experience of one (1) yearand above with extensive experience working in quality hotels.

    Hotel Housekeeper

    Responsibilities

    • Replace used amenities in guest rooms.
    • Fold towels, make beds, and ensure bathrooms are clean.
    • Remove trash, dirty linens and room service items.
    • Provide clean linens and towels for dirty ones.
    • Answer immediately to requests from guests, as well as from other departments.
    • Load cart with supplies such as linens and move it to the required areas.
    • Enter guest rooms by adhering to proper procedures and ensure they are vacant.
    • Perform a check on all room appliances to ensure they are in good working condition.
    • Adjust furniture, desk items, and appliances when necessary.
    • Dust furnishings and walls and remove marks from them.
    • Carry out floor care duties in the hallway and guest rooms, and vacuum carpets where necessary.
    • Adhere to all safety, security and company procedures and policies.
    • Provide an immediate report of any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problems, or accidents to the house keeping supervisor.
    • Keep uniform clean and make sure to appear professional always.
    • Ensure company standards are followed in welcoming and acknowledging all guests.
    • Expect the service needs of guests and provide them even before called upon to do so.
    • Genuinely appreciate and thank guests for their visit.
    • Apply professional language in communicating with guests and other people.
    • Greet guests and take care of requests
    • Communicate issues to next shift. Complete required paperwork.
    • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of guest.
    • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
    • Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
    • Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices, as well as function in any capacity within Meethaq hotes ltd and for any of her sister companies that require your service.
    • Any other assigned task by management.

    Hotel Sales & Marketing Officer

    Job Description

    • Handling all aspects of a busy hotel sales & marketing operation
    • Organizing & participating in site visits and completion of all follow-up actions & documentation.
    • Selling, supporting, and advising on all aspects of events.
    • Coordination, promotion, and growth of the property’s attractions.
    • Increasing brand awareness across all mediums.
    • Make lists of potential clients and conduct surveys to identify guests actively seeking a hotel
    • Contact guest via calls or arranged meetings to discover their needs and requirements
    • Prepare and present sales proposals to potential clients, highlighting the best features and qualities of the hotel
    • Provide guest with a list of available services and their accompanying prices and offer discounts when necessary
    • Assist clients in selecting the most appropriate service that best meets their specifications and needs
    • Oversee the booking and reservation of space in a hotel to ensure availability and proper arrangement
    • Collaborate with members of staff to ensure clients have a good time
    • Monitor the guest service quality of the hotel to ensure customers are tended to appropriately
    • Conduct price negotiations with guests on behalf of the hotel management to reach a favourable bargain for both parties.
    • Maintain contact with clients to obtain feedback and to discuss opportunities for future business deals
    • Set annual budgets and implement strategies effective for achieving set targets.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Social Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Sales / Marketing or relevant customer facing experience role.
    • Strong digital skills with relevant qualification.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
    • Confident communication and presentation skills
    • Self-motivator with the ability to achieve set goals & who can work well on their own initiative
    • Hands on attitude to getting things done.
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
    • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Canva (desirable) Experience using Opera, or a similar database management system (desirable).
